I think rule of thumb is strongest that fits in hole , or in your case holes ,as long as they have good warranty period and known make it shouldn't matter
varta used to be good but see whats around for your money

oops so it is , sorry missed that bit (note to self read properly) ta :)
-
been looking at these elsewhere ,curious why are you getting rid ?
-
dificut depends on your diy level :) but tis heavy . whats the idea ? get it rebuilt or second hand one? know some on here do gearbox rebuilds :)

I have seen one on a disco , looked home made so do-able. it was by n/s bumper mount
-
hi, selling disco 200 tdi (93) ONLY £600 as itstands currently taxed until end march mot exp oct
will need lot of attention for mot welding round back end and prob inner wing (front)although some done. it is a tired disco but it would break for about this. its still in...

only thing I can think of is to ask at a custom body shop , maybe one of them could tell you or maybe do back door job ?
-
yes but thought you were testing them so out of head otherwise how would you know if hot or not
-
think you missed my point... ass. heater plug out, feed to terminal , body must be earthed to complete circuit
-
you got voltage , are they earthed? if just live to it and not in head- earthed they wont get hot
-
afternoon and welcome :) sure some one will recommend garage soon , normaly best are the independent ones , im sure you must have a few in that area
