It's looking pretty good now and I'm pleased. Sounds like you had a mare of a job. Mine took about an hour for each corner but I borrowed some seriously large axle stands and so lifted the whole thing up. The rears just fell out, fronts took a little compressing. Enjoyed doing it all though.

i think this is a lesson of my needing to ask the question before I buy the parts! my justification to the wallet was the rear shocks were shot to bits anyway, and the springs were 2nd hand. thanks for the info.

I notice with some lifting kits (2") that they come with new (i guess longer) radius arms, but some don't. I guess my question is what difference would the longer arms make and if i leave the radius arms standard is that such a bad thing? I've just stuck some larger tyres on and the old girl...
