As it is easy to do and free. Remove the fuel rail pressure sensor plug, clean connections and try again. If no previous symptoms likely to be simple problem.
That is a toughy, I am sure the first garage will say they done their best and did the repair you agreed upon.
I would go back explain what the issue was and cost, but go with the expectation of receiving nothing but with the attitude of helping...
Apologies for the delay in responding and I thank you all for your contributions. Suffice to say that the warning lights remained on after paying £225 for a new airflow sensor (so angry). However good news; I took car to a recommended garage and...

If u intend to do the work yourself as mentioned with regards to ramps, plus a decent scanner , multimeter , good range of tools ...
No, there's no strength anywhere in the middle. About the only bit you can take off as a 'unit' is the bulkhead. More work than you hoped, but on the plus side you can do all of it (except the engine) without needing a hoist.
Reassembly is rear...
It looks like it has a welded nut other side of bolt, on mine I think it’s a loose nut.
If you take tunnel cover off you will see a lot better ( main gear stick and both floors out/ loosened
Good evening all,
Just joined today after gleaning lots of useful info lately. I’ve just bought a ‘53 Discovery TD5, manual, 5 seater. I got it from a farmer who doesn’t use it. It’s only got 58,000 miles on it with full LR service history...
I have no idea of MAF sensor cost but they are very easy to change. As pictured it is fitted to airbox and secured by two torx screws, T20 ? Could they have meant MAP sensor which is a little more difficult ?
A PCM clear should have been run on a...
Don't know about the Disco' 5, but on the Sport both Tailgate and body tail lights work on all models.

You'll need some patience too :)
Good luck

I know this is silly but my grandmother had a similar problem with her car a while back and we couldn't figure it out for ages. Turned out the floor mat was slipping behind the pedals and causing the brake pedal to stay slightly "stuck" after...
The FL2 auto won't start if the ECM doesn't see that the brakes are on and the transmission is in N or P. The manual FL2 needs the clutch down, or it won't start.
I'm suspecting that it could well be tow bar wiring if fitted, as the trailer...
And just like that, they went on. Tried again this morning and they both went on without a fight. Amazing what a good nights sleep and a calm demeanour can do.
What a plonker I am you were spot on, I can’t beleive it HDC button had got pushed two weeks I have been over it under it, the only good thing that came out of it was I found a doddy wheel bearing that I replaced, so maybe in a starange run of...
