1.8 Freelander Cooling Fans
In the process of solving engine boil up in traffic jams.
New thermostat / new temp sensor / relay front LH of radiator OK / fans work on direct battery connection.
Haynes circuit diagram for cooling fans shows two relays. One the fan drive - the other (engine management relay) operates the fan relay.
Can anyone tell me which one I've checked (as above) and WHERE IS THE OTHER ONE.
I,m not electrical. Can read the circuit diagram, but difficult to relate this to actual bits under the bonnet.
Sorry can't find answer from all the others suffering from the same overall problem.
I've done loads of jobs on this 1.8 - great learning experience - but will it ever end!
