Swapping height sensors side to side

Having read various Internet articles,it seems possible to swap the height sensors from side to side , this then runs on the unused tracks giving a "new" sensor? Is there anything to beware of before starting this ? Does the wiring need changed ? Can you change both the fronts and the rears?(not...

    Which springs?

Thats a very good point and worth giving serious consideration to. I would also be wary of the insurance implications as well. And the fact that Land Rover never got type approval for coil springs, just as a 7 seater D2 on retro fit coils is also not type approved. Its all food for thought.

    Which springs?

As the guy who wrote this post, I can assure you if I was to do the conversion it would not be a "bodge" job !! All I asked is ,out of the VAST range of genuine Land Rover springs which ones would be suitable for this conversion? If none are suitable then why not say so in a courteous manner?

    Which springs?

Hi, I'm considering a coil conversion for my p38. What land rover colour code springs are used? I ask this as I have quite a collection of l/r springs lying around. Cheers

    P38 rises on its own

I took a pic of the faults logged but as I only bought the p38 a few months ago ,I don't know how old they are. I have cleared them (hopefully) and will check them again. But with all these valves stuck I take it I need to rebuild the valve block? Hopefully there is a pic attached to this post

    P38 rises on its own

Hi, I have a p38 and sometimes after I park it , I come back and it has risen by itself to high setting. When you get in and start it ,it goes back down to standard height. Then sometimes but more rarely it is lower than standard height when I come back to it. These can happen in a space of...
