Thank you for the explanation. So which one should I order?

2002 2.5 NAS I have looked all over for a head gasket set. I keep getting more than one part #. HHS36101 and HS54695. A couple other sets showed up as well. Which one do I get? I'll be replacing belts and water pump as well. Any kits that include everything?

Ok. Got the upper intake plenum removed. I can confirm there is coolant in the plenum and around the intake seals. Don't know how it got there??? Had to stop working on the poor thing as my fingers weren't grasping anything anymore, they were frozen. Finish up the job tomorrow I'm hoping. Small...

Thank you for the reply Nodge68. As the plenum was recently replaced by the dealer, I agree the seals and gaskets will be ok as well. I was concerned that this gasket was missing, I don't see it looking at that seam. Thanks again for the info. I'm greatly appreciative. I'll tear everything apart...

Thanks for the "plate" explanation ZdomZ. I'm sure its coolant and it was more than condensation. At first I though the coolant port at the throttle body was leaking, GM's have a port on the TB. This car does not. Looking at the mating are of the LH Intake and the Plenum I don't see a gasket...

Couple quick questions. This is a 2002 KV6 NAS vehicle. Is there a gasket between the LH Lower intake manifold and the intake plenum (upper intake manifold)? The Rave manual only mentions the RH intake to plenum seals and o-rings, nothing about a LH intake gasket. MiamiBritish has a gasket...
