Couple quick questions. This is a 2002 KV6 NAS vehicle.
Is there a gasket between the LH Lower intake manifold and the intake plenum (upper intake manifold)? The Rave manual only mentions the RH intake to plenum seals and o-rings, nothing about a LH intake gasket. MiamiBritish has a gasket available, part # LKJ100680L. Don't know if I need it?
The reason I'm asking, I have rich mixture codes both banks, coolant loss when engine cools with no external signs. When I took off the MAF I discovered coolant in the air duct between the MAF and the TB. So I'm going to replace the lower intake gaskets along with all gaskets and seals above them.
Whats already been done; New intake plenum and VIS controllers, Plugs ( No sign of coolant on the old ones), New trans solenoids, New MAF, fuel pressure test was good, injector leak down test was good, cylinder pressure test good, coolant system pressure test was good, TP sensor/IAT/Coolant Temp all good readings, no vacuum leaks found, new battery.
Also, just curiosity, I've seen the term "plate" to describe a couple Freelanders???
