Thanks for all the advice. I checked the air filter which was dirty and needs replacing anyway but not soaking wet. I will change oil & filters, is it a big job to clean inter cooler & pipes. I'll also ask Santa for a snorkel :) Cheers Karlan 130

Sorry I forgot to mention it's a 300 TDI disco 1.

Silly question time...... After driving through a deeper than expected puddle. The engine lost power and I could not see behind for steam. After a few minutes the engine was back to normal, will this have done any damage to the engine? cheers Karlan 130
