I've blead it from the little 8mm nut on the metal pipe and also the top pipe from the heater matrix so I think I've got all the air out of the system,the heater is mint and I've no over heating issues but the bottom rad pipe seems always cold ..

fitted a new genuine one and it still dont seem to be opening ?? any ideas ?

ive got a 2003 freelander 1.8 petrol(k series) i think the remote thermostat might be siezed im not getting any over heating issues but the bottom hose never seems to get hot and the pipes seem to be quite pressureiesed im looking at fitting a new thermostat but im confused with the 3 different...

hello ive got a 1.8 petrol freelander 2003.i think the temp sender is ****ed evey so often the temp guage goes to cold and the fans kick in,the engine runs mint with no over heating issues,even when fans are on ,ive rang my local parts shop and he recons its a dealer part only ??? any help welcome

hello! ive just replaced the heater matrix in my 2003 freelander 1.8 petrol,its got fitted the new style thermostat fitted,the car runs fine with no over heating issues but the bottom radiator pipe stays cold,any ideas if the thermostat is ****ed ? cheers jonty

ive just taken the rear prop off my freelander to get the vcu recon at bell engineering,hope to have a better driving land rover after i refit it,jet need to fit a new heater matrix :crazy:

how do,ive just got a freelander 1, im not sure if the vcu has give up,the tyres all seem to be waring ok,the vcu its self doesnt get hot after a run but it seems to sound a little rough when driving over 30/40 mph,ive took it on some muddy stuff and my mate said the front wheels started...
