Had a prover look around the 90's engine bay yesterday to see what's what. The front mount intercooler is from an Iveco truck, the turbo actuator is set at a fixed boost of 1.2bar using only the spring tension in the actuator. And in the diesel pump there is a blue spring that is shorter than...

the fan will turn all the time, the difference is you'll be able to stop it turning by using a paint brush or rolled up newspaper, when it's hot it will be locked and you won't be able to stop it. as said previously I've had 5 200/300 and never run a fan, even when towing a caravan

depends on how much you have got to spend? and what you want to do with it. if you want a full blown off road monster then go for the 300 it'll put up with more abuse than a TD5. if it's going to be a road car TD5 all the way much more civilized, also you'll get more for your money with a 300...

As long as the rest of the cooling system is in good order you don't need a fan on a 200tdi for 95% of situations, towing heavy stuff or slow maneuvering off road you may just want an electric fan. all 5 of my 200/300tdi's have never had fans on and have all been fine. saves a drop of fuel too

looking at the holes on the front I was wondering if they were going to fit LED's or some other day running lights?

no cover was going to get one made, I had one made before for a Hi Lux was only £130

I'm hoping the holes are 20mm then i can fit blind grommets on some of them.

That's ok there's half a tin of the green paint in the back so i think the roof will be colour coded once I get chance
