    How did you fit the td5 motor then mines just turned up and it dosnt fit the box, did you cut the hole bigger or fit a complete td5 outer box as well?

    Td5 motor ordered so should be up and running by the weakened! Thanks for all the help. Next job try and stop some of the water coming in the soft top, but will start another thread for that!

    Finally got to the route of my problem the motor is definately shot so need to get hold of one if anyone has one? but also the purple wire that goes to the motor has a brake in it we found it byt chance, as we had power there one minute & not the next so an easy fix now just need a motor!

    The fan is stiff to turn so would say its shot! But like you say nothing lost if I can sort it so taking it apart tomorrow to see whats happening inside!

    Engine is all good drives nice! So does it go from the fuse board up to the switch, and I should have some voltage on both the wires at the switch yeah?

    Yes I've checked it with a volt metre, assuming I am checking it right? ignition on and at the terminals on the switch? Are there any more fuses anywhere bar the ones in main board?

    Thanks for thate and I will try and get the motor going with a sepperate feed & if not replace it, but if I have no power going to it then its never going to run! Anybody got any ideas on the power feed to it?

    Hi all Just bought my first Landy and its 88 90 TD with a 200 tdi engine! First thing I'm trying to do is sort the heating out or at least get the fan working! Ive just taken out the heater and I recon the motor has had it, tried a direct 12v feed and nothing should that have worked...
