I bought a torx bit set, the professional range, and managed to snap one through my own stupidity. Took it back and the guy in the shop just said "no problem, lifetime guarantee" and handed me a new one.

The system allows a small amount of diesel to leak back to lubricate the injectors, as this fuel returns to the tank it gradually warms the fuel in the tank making it thinner, together with this as the injectors heat up with the engine running the tolerances within the injectors expand allowing...

Push it hard into a bend, when safe to do so, if the noise stops when steering left its the left side bearing or vice versa. Rears are more prone to go but your garage will have indicated which one has play. Rear brake shoes stick on the FL2 and can whine. If your indi can't tell the difference...

I have no issues with the grabbers, they have been fantastic, over 30,000 miles with 4mm left. I just though about Geolanders as I heard they had even more life but dont want to compromise with noise.
Thanks for the input from both of you.

I realise there is a similar thread on the go but thinking of switching from Grabber AT to geolander AT-s GO12. Has anybody had first hand experience of any difference in tyre noise, regardless of veihicle. I know geolander is rated higher but would it be noticable?

It's going to drive you mad, stick a tin of BG244 in the tank, fuel system cleaner, before you think about new injectors. May take a couple of hundred miles to notice anything but a fraction of the cost of swapping out injectors.

They seem to throw up odd messages as the battery gets old, steering lock or HDC fail are common. Some suggest a second earth from battery to solve it but I think its time for a new battery. Mine was showing HDC fail at 5 year old, new battery and never seen again.

So what did they do when they say "stripped the injectors down". A leak back from an injector will give your problem.
As for JSF why would a return pipe cause a problem, other than a spill of fuel, unless he though it was letting to much fuel back which would be an injector not the pipe.

The protective spring round the handbrake cable can rub against the hub if the tab to hold it back has come off.

When I bought mine from a non-LR dealer I had a nagging doubt about their service so I did an oil and filter change and its seemed much happier. Just had a feeling they hadn't used the correct 5-30 semi.

When did it last have an oil change?

If you hammered your brake drums off, can't workout how they adjust, take it to someone who knows what they are doing before you kill someone.
-
Loss of power while slowing down?
-
Ignore the abuse and do an injector leak back test.

Why would a dealer fix an 11 year old car? Probably just the rear UJ or brakes anyway.
