right folks changed the engine in my freelander last weekend now it kinda runs good apart from blue smoke the engine was fine in the doner 75 and ive just used the bare engine there was some oily crud in the exhaust of the freelander from last engine and a little oil in the intercooler any ideas...

oops :(:doh::doh:never got pics sorry but did kinda go well got the engine from a rover 75 had to change near everything on engine bar a few parts but yea the engines in and running there still a bit of oil in the exhaust from last engine that needs to be burnt off also fitted a rear silencer...

well folks today is the day just having a brew then head to the garage its time for my freelander engine to get the heck out the bay and the new lump in heres hoping it will finished today:eek::rolleyes: any tips and wish me luck lol

ok guys got the freelander started today its not revving all the time then it struggles to rev at all ,sounds chappy,think its only ticking over on 3 cylinders, no 1 injector is leaking at cylinder head seat, and it bellows smoke out the exhaust and oil coming out bottom of dipstick

i can hear the fuel pump in the back working is there any tests i can do for the high pressure one and whats easiest way to check and clean the injectors
