Just had same problem with my steering column, did the garage just weld on a new finger where the old one had snapped ? If so did they do it 'in-situ' or remove the column first?
Thanks for your assistance here but I live in France and a full replacement will be over 2000€. I have written to RR as the supposed 'service repair' was never performed by my local dealer....... no faith in them whatsoever!!!! Did RR ever reply to you?
