Advice please.
Defender 90, 300tdi. Not had the vehicle long and as ever was going to get around to checks and servicing. I found that the anti-freeze levels in the coolant were low as it had frozen slightly last week no leaks when the weather warmed up. But the heater (which was working brilliantly) was only blowing cold air and temp gauge went into the red after 10 minutes of driving. I had it booked in to a local garage (has been a really good chap in the past) for some other work. He drained it down and has replaced coolant with correct anti-freeze. Still no hot air from heater and temp gauge still going into red. I will call him tomorrow and I'm sure he will be on the case, he has never let me down in the past. Any thoughts and advice to put my mind at rest, or give me nightmares, welcome.
