Cheers folk timing belt was changed about. 18 months ago when 2 valves packed in. Will replace rocker cover gasket first then seals if not sorted. ya very much.

Hi folk. Sorry it is an 1.8 03 plate and done 115.000 mls. If its any of the oil seal does this mean an engine strip or can they be done without stripping the engine.

Hi. Folk i have an oil leak from the timing belt side of my engine, it is over my alternator and down the front side. tryed checking the rocker cover gasket but could not see anything could it be an oil seal in that area or would you suggest replacing the rocker cover seal. any help is...

Hi Folk. Could you tell me if the shaft that runs through the vcu should be able to turn by hand or is this common also since i removed the vcu and shafts the engine managment light has come on.

Hi.folks removed the vcu and propshafts took it for a 5 mile drive and no noise what so ever now know new vcu and bearing required. Has anyone ever dealt with Bellenginering they are affering vcu for £200 (reconditioned). This seems to be the cheapest. thanks alot.

Hi. the vcu bearings where renewed last year about june as on its mot they told me that they where worn so i renewed them. I have done the test it seemed ok. i was thinking of taking off the front and rear propshafts and seeing i am still getting the noise, as i am hoping it is not the ird asa...

Hi. There is no noise when idle, When in motion at any speed there is a dull whinning noise it gets louder as you speed up. the tyres are all the same make and all put on at the same time all brand new. this noise happens going forward or reverse.
