Hi mate, long shot I know, but if you ever need a hand or a day or two labour, give us a shout! I'm local and well versed in all kinds of outdoor work, and compost toilets!! :)

Its funny I forgot about this thread..... Right chaps new situation...

Shepherds hut needs moving from a hillside.

It just needs dragging along this path (behind the hot in this pic) and then down a track (left of hut in the pic) which is a bit steep. I have just tried with a quad but the problem is the steering is moving whilst pulling so I think it needs 1 pulling gradually and one on plank duty, one holding the steering straight.

Need at least 2 more men, and at least 1 landrover with a winch.. I have mine but once winched out it will block the land rover in. I figure once back it will be just hitching it up and first and low and sail down the hill.

It is weather dependent but may be a one for a weekend (not this one looking at it)

Reward. £90
A good lunch on site (Sandwiches/crisps/chocolate, soft drink of your choice)
Unlimited Teas/Coffee etc.
A souvenir log :)

Hiya matey! Defo up for this, my next available w/end is May 19th, sorry if that's too far away, but if not, count me in :)

All done I am afraid.... I was trying to shift it a metre a day to ensure success when others came but it became a bit precarious and nearly lost it down the bank. As a result, we ended up enlisting the help of a nice welsh chap with the biggest tractor I have seen and on the hottest bank holiday of the year..pulled it along and down...Can you sweat your own body weight in a day ?
