I spend a lot of my time in the Range Rover section and there's loads of posts where the title doesn't include the car type, e.g. L322, P38 etc.
My mild OCD would love to occasionally fix them all so I don't keep entering a post I actually don't care about.

Could long term users be given the right to do this?

Thread starters can already do this ...

your thread, your edit

Way too time consuming based on how many posts are wrong and would just generate loads of noise for the mods to deal with.
If you've ever used stack exchange forums they are managed by site users and it works really well.

Do you mean there's actually a forum about swapping chimneys?

Or just report the thread and leave it to admin/moderator to do?
🤔
They have so much to do as it is. That cake won’t eat itself don’t ya know
@Montyjohn every time the OCD starts to itch send them a PM asking to insert the correct model info. It should minimise your suffering knowing you’ve attempted to fix the issue that bothers you. Some may even do it preventing the ocd for the next reader
