water in front footwell.

just washed the freelander and found water on the mat in the front passenger footwell. reckon its come in from the partical filter, but any suggestions how to stop this leak??

check the heater pipes first

not usually any water there.... only appeared after using a hose on it. I removed the mats, carpet bone dry under them, and since putying the mat back in its been dry as a bone. For this reason i am fairly confident its not the heater pipes, as if it was i would find puddles there all the time wouldnt I?

often its just damp

well until i washed the freelander the mat has been dry. i washed it and had a puddle. i emptied the puddle and drove home, still dry.
