Upgrade to Freelander 2

Guys,
I'm looking to up grade from a Freelander 1 to a Freelander 2, can my RonBox and MAF just "bolt on" to a Freelander 2?

Freely 2 is such a better performer in every way to the bmw td4, if the td4 160bhp doesn't suit buy the sd4 190, apart from saving a bit of mpg I never saw the need to mess with it.

Does the FL2 rust? The wheel arch would worry me a bit. There's some rubber but it doesn't cover all the painted bit which is open to stones.

Is that the only rust problem the FL2 has? Are they as good as the FL1 at keeping their paint?

I know the bit that you mean, but there are no known rust issues on the FL2 and the paint is extremely robust when it comes to shrugging off stone chips.
