Matching a barrel to an existing key

interesting one this....

A previous owner to me had land rover fit a new engine to the freelander.

During the works the keys were lost so land rover fitted a new ignition barrel, with a new set of keys but never changed the door locks.

Is it possible to buy new door barrels for all three doors that match the key that i've got??

Possibly only as a complete set so the ignition will need changing again.....

A good auto locksmith may be prepared to match your locks to your key. When I got my freelander the drivers lock was different to the rest. I removed the lock and swapped the tumblers around to suit, although I did have to file two of the tumblers slightly. This now works perfectly I had to do this because my alarm went belly up and. Had to use the key to overide the ultra sonics

ok. will see if i can find a locksmith.... thats the reason i would like to get them sorted now and not when its too late!!!
