Fuel tank harness

Apparently mine is corroded.

Is there an aftermarket/uprated version out there somewhere?
If so I can't find it.
(In fact I can't find any - even via breakers!)

i went to buy one at local dealer .. was told i need to get it on order ..
er .. not cheap either ..

They seem to be a bit thin on the ground, but only $250 in the USA.

Unfortunately the part you are looking for has been discontinued by the factory and I have not been able to locate any old stock for you.



Strange how I can find some abroad, just not in the UK!

Its a simple form that could be welded up out of basic stock steel very easily.
If you can't weld yourself, anyone with a bit of skill with a welder and grinder should be able to make one in an hour or two if you give them your old one as a template.

Seriously, you could get a suitable cradle fabricated for a fraction of that.

I think I'm going to ask a mate of mine if he can fix it - he's quite handy with a welding - er - thing...

Getting on for 300 quid - that's ridiculous. Get a tratter boy to weld one up!

Are you honestly going to spunk near on three thousand pounds on a handfull of steel frames? Really? I wasn't joking when I said that anyone with a little skill in metal fabrication will be able to make a suitable replacement from scratch, or even provide an good copy if you gave them an original as a template, and it will cost a ****-load less than £300.

UM - ok, maybe not then...
