Hello everyone - hoping for some advice on this intermittent problem..
I have a '06 diesel FL TD4. Two times in the past two weeks my car has failed to start, shortly (1-2hrs) after previous use. The engine management light (orange with the ! in it) comes on and stays on with the ignition and, while the engine turns over, the car won't start. When this happened yesterday, I called the AA but by the time they arrived the light went out after engaging the ignition and the car started (although was a bit spluttery). There was no fault reading and the AA guy wasn't able to help.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what this might be before I send my garage on a fishing trip?
