Would just like to say a big thanks to those two getting married in that London today. They created an extra bank holiday which means Im at work on double time and a half :D:D:D and plenty of time to catch up on here, AND I wont be bombarded by it all on tv and radio. YEEEESSS!
Also means I can internet window shop at my liesure for all my Disco goodies (that I cant afford) and reasearch my road trips (in my disco) which I cant afford either...but goin anyway :D

Thats a bit of a bugger. Was self employed for 20 yrs. Know exeactly how you feel mate... I saw the light 10 yrs ago and became an employee. Never looked back.....

Other way round for me employed untill I was 60 then self employed, Never felt better, no stupid " boss" to deal with.Going to France in our caravan for 6 weeks in June,could not do that when"employed" I know this has got nothing to do with disco's but it's interesting in it ?? Ok I know you could not give a fig !!! LOL !!
 
Yeh I remember being self employed for 10 years - do ad invented when I wanted and total job security - great times - ok money was up and down but life was good - then went into public sector - 25 years - 20 of which were good now - no budgets no security to job satisfaction - I now envy the self employed again - may go back to it.
 
I'm self employed in work keeping one eye on the shindig on the laptop and enjoying a cold potato sandwich,:) I own a shop so you could say it's a bit quiet at the moment but nice to see the British spirit prevails and the couple are being given a good British bash..
