Hi All,

Apoligies to everyone if this question has been asked already, I have a disco 2 TD5 and the engine has failed the general consensus is that it would cheaper to replace with a good second hand unit that strip and rebuild. I have found a replacement engine from a defender with 60000 miles on it. My question is once I have fitted the engine do I need to reprogramme the injectors. The replacment engine came complete and I am loathed to swap the injectors from one engine to the other if I don't need to? any advice gratefully received.

As T1G UP says, you dont " need " to have them coded back to the ecu, but the engine will be more efficient if you do.

Put up your location, and some one may well have a Nanocom/HawkEye near you, and help you out !

Happy spannering !

Del.
