Sport Mode

Hi everyone,

I have recently bought a Discovery 2 (2003) TD5 Auto and have noticed that when I press the mode button on the gearbox the S light does not light up on the dash.
I know the S dash light works has it has flashed previously in error (flashed simultaneously with the M button until I turned off and back on)

I arent worried about using the sport mode, in fact i don't think ill ever use it.
I just want to check its definitely not in it! I presume as the S light is not on the dash it isn't on but wondered if anyone has experienced anything similar?

It's probably a short in the circuit board under the mode button. I replaced my whole cover for £10 from eBay and it cured mine.

Am I right in thinking that the circuit board comes with the fascia so I would just need to plug it into the new one?
