Picked up some side steps today with all the brackets, nuts and bolts etc but no instructions. I'm going to fit them tomorrow and after Reading on the net about how to fit them I'm a little unsure what the outriggers look like, or where exactly they are and it's too dark to look at the minute, iv googled allsorts but can't find what I'm after. Anyone got any pics of what they look like and where they are exactly ? Thanks again guys!
 
Cheers gratch, I'd read page 1 of that earlier but didn't realise there were 2 pages! Ha. Excuse my ignorance, my steps are from paddocks and have an arm which stick out, then screws into the moulded rubber top. How do the brackets attach to the outriggers? I take it the bolts shown in the pictures come out??

Assemble yer side steps, put them on the floor under ya disco approximately where they will fit, then get on yer back and lift the steps up to the disco and it should become evident where it should go.
 
Sorry but am still struggling with this, can anyone take a pic of underneath a disco 1 with side steps fitted (similar to paddocks type which bolt to the outrigger) or edit a photo and put red arrow on it to show where they fit,

underneath mine all i can see working outside to the middle is
1. plastic sill trim
2. sill with approx 5/6 holes drilled along its length
3. nothing noticable at either end of the sill where it could mount

yeah i did mate, wont download though so was hoping to just find and download the bit i needed but to no avail, thank you though, il try on the desktop later when am at home

Is there nothing connecting the sill to the chassis? I.e. underneath and on the INSIDE of the sill, in front of the back wheel and behind the front wheel, below where your feet are when sat in front or back seats.
