Headlight adjusters 1992 200tdi

One thing after the other for me.
Today i noticed that the little adjusters had broken off one of my headlights, this has left it insecure and low.
Looked on ebay and can only see ones for 300tdi
Does anyone know where i can get any from.

what model? adjusters should be available for all models.

The little orange knobs which clip onto the black threaded part?

I'm sure I've seen them on eBay at one stage, but otherwise it's an old sherpa van, or a landy breaker...

The car is a Discovery 1, and yes it is the orange knobs with the plastic black inserts.
Managed to find them on a site but they are as expensive as a light at 40 quid,
Wondering if i would be able to get them off at a wreckers as they are very brittle, why they made them that way i will never know.

They should come off mate no probs

I've dealt with a handful of 200s and never had serious breakage if handled carefully

Just unscrew all the way til the lamp can be pulled forward, then pull the orange knob off the back towards the back of the car, then squeeze the black spikes together and remove through the hole towards the front of the car.

leyland daf 400 van is the same lights and adjusters.... indicater and wiper switch is the same aswell
