Ok, the disco has been making a noise on the fos area since i got it about 3 weeks ago. It is also loosing some sort of oil over the alloy.:( I wipe away but it returns after a while. I've looked at other threads, and I think it could be the swivel seals. but before I go and buy a replacement set, does this sound right to any of you? Thanx in advance.:D

OK, if its a wheel bearing, how hard are they to replace? I'm sorry and I'm a noob without a clue, but I'm willing, and usually capable enough. Will a hope and a prayer be enough, or am I asking too much?

In former times there was a russian Gedore tool, very handy and for universal use.
Btw, you could tell us what type of Disco you are talking about.

Wow. I'll throw out my silly toy tool kit, and go buy a real mans tool kit then shall I? :D(Didn't know there was such a thing as 52mm socket!)

its needed for the hub nuts..... most landrover places sell box spanners for the job, if you were closer i would come give you pointers and lend you the tool

oh you may also need a 14mm 12sided socket for the calliper bolts

Caliper bolt heads are bi-hex 13mm the disc to hub are the 14mm ones, if you have a bi-hex 1/2" socket try to use it on calipers, very slightly smaller than 13mm and often better for these bolts, less chance of rounding them.
