disco 1 rear propshaft coupling/rubber doughnut

hi all,
a silly question i'm sure,
but my brother asked me to ask you guys.

my brother has a 300tdi "L plate" 1994,
he wants to change his doughnut nut doesn't really want to put another standard one on. do they do a pollybush version????

if so does anyone have the product code and price, and where he may get one.
 
I assume your asking because hes chewing them up on regular occassions due to a lift maybe ? If thats the case then you would be better off converting the output on the diff to a 4 bolt flange and using a prop with a UJ at each end like the earlier 200TDi's and some 300's have.

If the vehicle is not lifted, then the rubber couplings last a long time, so fitting another (recommend genuine) would last a long time.

i purchased a new doughnut yesterday and the guy in the shop recomended this conversion.
very helpful guy at cheviot 4x4.
 
The 4 bolt flange is the way to go and then you can use the prop from a 200 tdi which has UJ's both ends. Its the first thing you should do in my eyes and something that gets overlooked by a lot of people
If you have given the vehicle any sort of lift, the Trailing arms will need to be changed for cranked ones too (the bushes will go eventually and it'll feel like the car is a very large 'slide hammer'
