Had the air-con regassed today on my TD5 but it is leaking from the pipe from the condenser back to the n/s inner wing where it has rubbed next to the n/s headlamp.
Is this pipe a main dealer only part?
Also what is the easiest way to remove grill? does just the centre section come out or is it complete?

remove the screws along the top of the grill and then remove the headlights and you will then see one screw under where the headlight lower trim and then you can move the grill from side to side and you will get the grill out.

I have a similar problem on my '98 Tdi Diesel. Gassed, with a dye injected into the system to isolate any leaks. Worked a treat, and emptied the system through the pipe that sits behind the o/s front light. The pipe is the one which returns from the receiver drier.

Unfortunately, from the EPC at the Land Rover dealer, this part is not sold on it's own, but only as part of the condenser assembly (at around £630 a pop!!).

Off to the breakers tomorrow to see if I can sort a decent one from a donor vehicle.

Does anyone know if anyone actually stocks these as a seperate item (new)??

Hi Ady, must be different on a Tdi as I have got my pipe from the main dealers for my TD5. But the pipe runs from the receiver and goes behind the N/S headlamp ( £66.00).

Managed to find one at a breakers yard today in good condition. A fiver secured the deal, so I've got a little job to do this weekend!
