What a cracking episode of Car SOS I have just watched I recorded it a few days ago...featured a very nice S1 that was owned by a lady that used to trial it with the Pennine Land Rover Club...
Unfortunately due ill heath it lay disused in her garage for years...sadly the lady passed away and her daughter took ownership of it...hoping one day to return it to the road,
She never go around to it and her family then got in touch with the SOS team,
They took it on under the eye of life long Landrover fan Fuzz Townsend...his enthusiasm was so obvious,
The Landrover was a bit of a box of bits in some ways inc its later 2.25d with a very non std turbo that caused the team lots of probs...
This is the second series of Car SOS...I think its a cracking prog...if any of yo guys have missed the episode it maybe repeted on Nat G over the next few days,
Even John Craddock was on the prog casting a very experienced eye over the project.
Nick.
