hello and good evening, after browsing on this site for a few months i noticed a few threads where people were being flamed for not introducing themselves before asking questions, and due to my lack of a fire extinguisher and possible purchase of a green oval i thought i best make myself known!!
so, i am a 26 year old industrial electrician who works in a steel works around sheffield. have had a keen interest in land rovers mainly defenders and am looking at purchasing a v8 defender 90 project. i am fairly mechanically minded, having stripped and built a show winning mg zr with a non standard engine conversion. i currently still own the zr, but also in my fleet i have a mk7 transit van that is a general work van/parts carrier/minibus/surfbus/removal van etc. i also own a mitsubishi lancer evo8 which will be going in order to possibly fund this project.
i think thats about it, i can't think of much else, cheers
