What you got planned for your Landy this weekend

Taking my engine out Saturday to take to work and have a complete strip and reman of engine and turbo. Perks of the job
What do you have planned?

Walking past it both days because im working :violin:

Nothing till i next get paid in 3 weeks time then i will be starting the refurb of the front axle

taking all my camping/holiday stuff out so I can get the kids back in, and a trip to MOSI on Sunday.

Sort one of the headlights out, as at the moment it shines directly up at the sky.

Remove transfer box from gearbox and remove handbrake bits. Start refurbing the swivels.

Apart from maybe burning it.......


Finish fitting refurbished front axle. Fit custom braided brake lines. Fit back half of lift kit. Then spend some more money on it

Get the new chassis rebuilt back up
and hopefuly get the timing belt and new clutch fitted

Fit a rear anti roll bar, and search for a rocker gasket leak. Was going to fit new rear calipers but jumped the gun and did it last night

just maybe fit another steering coloumb swivel set..
had the bonnet up today to have another look..hmmmm
but still busy welding my daughters ali Bongo
almost done the welding bits, but got new part exhaust on its way plus new bolts and sealing rings....
also got to sort out an oil leak (just like a landrover here thinking about it)
so ordered a new cam cover gaskit.. nice engine but wrong place - between front seats..
bound to be summit else on it before I get to fix my 3 inches of free play on my Discos steering..got to be, its a mazda.....

Fit secondary fues box, raptor console and in cab winch controls. Then seal the under sear storage and battery compartments. Sunday test the sealing at wildtracks in Newmarket and Thetford.

Drop fuel tank and replace the in-tank pump. Hopefully it'll start before it flattens the battery.. again.

I'm off to as conference in mine. I'll check fluid levels, error codes and fill it up with diesel later. so I'm ready for an early start tomorrow.

Gonna try & figure out what sump bolts go in what hole on a 200di conversion (turbo later)as dog has chewed my cardboard guide, so she is now banned from the garage, the minx

Paint external roll cage front bumper and remove stickers of windows after I done some fencing sat morn

Turbo Gauge (if i can work out where it fits!) decat pipe and blank off the EGR. then get it cleaned!

Find somewhere to mount aux battery for a couple of months, then add worklight and aux power sockets, one double on back of console (ign switched) and one double in load area (aux battery)

Thats the optimistic plan!
