Ok so ive had the motor off on the super winch EP9 and it seems the metal contact inside has snapped off from where the main power goes in.

Is it new motor time?

Is it worth spending on a bow motor?

I'd say yes, Bowmotor needed .. :)

A snapped internal connector is very hard to fix reliably.

Frankly I'd order a new motor and while waiting I'd strip this one further .. the top should come off further to see the brushes and springs, if they're in good condition then I'd have a try at brazing the snapped bit. Even if the brushes are gone then I re-made a motor using washing machine brushes! Just took a good brush to the local market to match up the sizes .. ;)

Have fun .. ;)

also there is no bolt to earth onto with the motor, how would i earth it? and the is a snapped leg where it would bolt down, could this be welded to some mild steel?
