Hope someone can help me here.

I'm planning a four week tour somewhere in Europe and buying a disco to do it now seems to be the plan (thanks to those in the disco forum for advice and stories). As we will be camping and want to avoid the weight and security issues of roofracks, I am keen to put everything inside the boot but in an organised fashion. In an LRO i saw photos of an ex-camel disco with shelves in the boot. Does anyone have any advice on putting these in. Do you have to drill holes or is there some cunning method?

Martyn:rolleyes:

Once side panels are removed in the boot area there are loads of holes and captive bolts that can be used for attaching boxes to the side or floor. I am making some for my own Disco, but only to remove the plastic side bins (split very easily) and to raise the floor by 6" to then have a large slide out draw, that way the load capacity will be the same as standard.

Don't know if this is too late but if you make the drawer the same height as the folded down rear seats. you'll be able to sleep in the back if you want to, and your not over 6' tall
