Alright there
Looking to go green laning near Guildford and was wondering if anyone knew of any good lanes or places to go. Even if anyone could recommend any clubs or anything in the Guildford local area.
Cheers guys

Hi there just seen your post and im not far form you in Redhill, i have found some great lanes starting at Bocketts farm in bookham going all the way to Leith hill, the lanes are pretty easy and you wont get stuck, takes around 3 hours to do it so its a pretty good run, if you would like to come along let me know i have a disco 300 td1 thanks Steve

Hi Steve,

Digging up this post from a Google search I'd be up for meeting and going for a drive if you fancy it after work or on a weekend? Have a '90 (see my newbie post for pictures) and looking to meet other green laners in the local area.

PM me if you're interested? Same to you, maxac!

I'm down for local area laning! Work in Guildford live in Hindhead. Both places know several decent lanes. Shere, Albury, Devils Punchbowl all good spots.

Bump the thread or PM if anyone's up for it. Early eve after work or weekends good for me.

I'm a local Gal and do a bit of laning round there but unfortinately my current vehicle is for sale so I'm not about to risk damage and my new comes on Saturday and it needs lots of work before I get it on the road. I'm up for laning when the new one done.

Nearest ones to you are either down towards shere, or there are some near the devils puchbowl

I think I've done a few of those, would be good to meet up with others and have a look around though, might find some new lanes that people know!:clap2:

I've also done one going down the Devils Punchbowl which lead to a gate at the bottom, had to do an interesting 3 point turn then head back up - it was a good lane, deep ruts and high sides but I wasn't expecting one end to be closed!

Then came out at the top, stopped under a lamp post to re secure everything before heading home and got asked by a policeman if I had been drinking in the pub all night....(Defender covered in sandy mud)... Apparently a gentleman they were questioning had seen my friend and I in there all night!

Ha!:beer2:

Excellent! Yeah prob a good move to keep it damage free :D

Yeah that's what I'm hoping! Go out on lunch breaks from work to map out all the local lanes in like Albury and Farley Green. Nothing too strenuous just a bit of exploring. Found several bits I just couldn't risk on my own so could be fun with others!

Hmm wonder where you were.. there are several gated bits. It's all got a bit interesting now the A3 tunnel has opened and they've shut off the A3. Exits I'd usually come out of then have to cross the A3 traffic taking 5-10 mins are now traffic free and you can zip across the old A3 bit.

Haha! Obviously you answered yes I have been officer well caught good job :D

Hey Peeps, I'm new here and was wondering if any one was up for letting me join in the train if your are going out? can do most days eves as self employed. I have a stock disco 300 so nothing to gnarly I guess!

Hiya Zan, sorry I missed yer Birthday. :5bparty::5bparty:

I'll be out when the new one is finished. I'm not going to risk damage to Gloria
Be just my luck to break something while she's up for sale.

Be good to get out on the lanes again with you. I guess your the most local girlie with a landy to me. :)

It would be good to see you again, and now that i got my own landy(Maggie) and a driving license i can get out more, though not every wkend

We were out last wkend christening Maggie in some of the lanes round north Hampshire, so now i got a couple of things to sort on her, seems i have intermittent brake lights. :(
