XS/GS difference?

Looking to replace my old Discovery 3 with a 4 with 8 speed gearbox. It is a basic s model and I have had it for 9 years. Can any one tell me what major differences there are between a GS and XS? I have been looking at GS models with leather and I am not fussed about sat nav. What should I be looking out for? many thanks in advance for any comments.

I'm not sure on the specifics of the D3/4, but normally there's a lot more differences than seat materials and sat nav.
Your best bet is to look at the vehicle in question, and see if it has that you want. For instance, things like heated front screen are often missing from lower spec models, as they're costly to install, but personally I wouldn't buy a vehicle without having a HFS.

Valid points, thanks. My basic S model has heated front screen so I presumed the GS has? I know things like arm rests, sunroofs etc vary, more concerned about any mechanical differences.

Are you a member of the D3/4forum? if not join and go to their wiki section, all D3 models with specs are listed.
For some reason they do not have the same for the D4, but it is a starting point to work from.
