Wolf "style" wheels

Hi

When pennies allow I'm going to fit steel wheels to my 110 as it currently runs on alloys.

Going for wolf wheels but wondering has anyone had any experience of these.

From what I can gather the new wolf style wheel by britpart are copies (surprise surprise!) which look identical to the ones in your link, but have had four on my 90 for a couple of years, treat them like **** and they are still round
Ps look better in black, white means you have to clean them!

Expected something like that but always best to check with folk who actually know.

You can prob pick up a secondhand genuine ex-mod pair on eBay if you keep an eye out complete with tyres for a couple hundred quid

I got mine from there , you can't tell the difference in them with gen

Most of the ones I've seen on ebay are the tubed type.

I'd prefer to stick to tubeless rims and at £40 each new it's not a bad price.

Other thing is I think genuine wolf wheels are thicker steel than these copy ones so some people have issues at mot time as the wheel nuts dont cover the entire wheel stud thread, my mot bod had never mentioned it before

They don't have to land rover issued an approved update to the torque setting for land rovers with normal studs being fitted with wolf wheels. The new figure is 125lb/ft. They did this due to wolf wheels being fitted by the army to older landys.
