Hi I've got a Td5 - I thought I'd do a quick job this morning to fit my new cubby box...thought it would be an easy job but should have known better! There's a cable going from the bottom of the box disappearing underneath towards the engine - it's coming from this outlet...any ideas how to remove? many thanks any help would be great 👍

Hi and welcome!

I went to fit a cubby box to my 200Tdi 90 in January only to find issues with removing the centre seat. Nothing is ever straightforward on a Landy!

Have you tried removing the carpet and sound proofing to follow the plug and wiring? The seat box cover underneath the sound proofing should just slide out, showing where the wiring is routed. My 90 doesn’t have the plug for diagnostics being a Tdi but someone with knowledge of it’s routing will be along in a bit…

That looks like an obd test socket, you can move it, but make sure it is easy to get to as you will need it at some point.

Brilliant thank you I'm going back out to investigate further 🤞

I have a cubby box in my TD5,
put a couple of wooden battens under the cubby box.
Lifts it up to a better height and clears the OBD socket.
