Hi all

I have acquired one of the voice recognition modules that you can fit to our L322 range rovers that allows you to control the nav computer with your voice , the problem im having is connecting it to my car, my car has all the pre wiring for the phone system already installed and has the microphone installed in the overhead panel and the voice button on the steering wheel, but in the boot area where the nav computer is i cannot find the connector to connect the voice module too:confused:. I have found the large 54 pin telephone connector but no connector to connect the voice module. Do i need an adapter for the wiring harness to allow me to connect the module?

Thanks
Matt

Did you try asking whoever you got the voice module from?

Was from eBay.

If anybody else on here has the voice module already installed, it's the smallish silver module that is bolted to the underneath of the navigation unit bracket and has a multi plug connected the the blue socket on the front of it. Would you be able to trace where the multi plug cable go to to for me, and what it connects to.

Thanks
Matt

What's wrong with using ya hands?? or just get the butler to operate it for you??

What u on about? I've searched my car for the connector and it's not there, just wanted someone to who has the module already to see if it's a special harness etc.. That gives them the correct multi plug for the voice module.
