I'm about ready to attach the wings to on my rebuild Turbo 2.5 Diesel and have been looking at the air duct where it joins the heater motor. Going by the parts diagram it goes on like I've done in the pictures then is just pushed on, the only thing that seems to be keeping it in place are the screws attaching it to the wing. There is a lip on the motor which I would have thought the duct would fit round the outside to create a better seal. There is another part listed MRC8717 which looks just like a pipe so don't know if it would make any difference.
Parts shown- air duct / MRC8642 spacer / MRC8378 seal
Any advice would be great.
