Evening Folks,

The old 2004 Hippo finally lost the passenger windscreen wiper link rod after 20 years.

Now LR do t to it and I came across this on EBay , anyone tried this or have an alternative solution.

See attached and any advice would be very much appreciated.

The replacement rods work fine as long as the ball on the mechanism is not worn too badly. Use a silicon based grease when assembling.

You can get linkage repair springs to hold the linkage together. I had a pair on my SE for 3 years and forget they were there. Never failed in that time, so were worth the £5 they cost.
