Recently replaced both rear window regulators on my 04 TD4 Auto after the original cables rusted and snapped. Fairly straightforward job.
Drivers side rear lasted about a month then broke. Cables OK but black plastic conduit that holds the cable in tension had snapped off and cabling had slipped off pulley. Got it replaced by vendor and refitted. Been working fine until today - BROKEN AGAIN.
Am I doing somethiong wrong during the installation or have I just been very unlucky? There doesn't seem to be much more I can do differently on installation. Coudl there be something wrong with the dooor itself? Should I be lubricating the glass runners?
Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks.
