Freelander 1 Will the seats from a 2005 Freelander 1...

...fit in a 2001 car? There are some on eBay at present from a 2005 car, not that far from me, but I think there was a minor facelift in 2003 (ish)? Does anyone know if the later FL1 seats will fit the earlier cars? (Mine's 2001).

I think people have said in the past that they are interchangeable - someone will undoutedly know.

Having last week had to strip some bits off the seat to replace a seatbelt, one thing that springs to mind are the plastic trim finishers (eg the plastic bit that slides with the seat between seat and door). If they are different, eg shape of fixing positions, then you'll need those as well.

The later seats fit in early cars, as long as the number of doors is the same.
