Just back from a very long and excellent days laning. Checked out all the lanes we will be going on, even had the GLASS rep with us. Some amazing scenery and nothing too difficult. Matt will be sorting the routes and sending them on to those that need them.

don't tell them that we had to tow matt out though :behindsofa:

It's well worth getting one fitted, not just so we can keep in touch but also so we can take the pee out of each other! The 'banter' is part and parcel of the experience.;)

I don't have the time or the money to get one sorted before Wednesday when I leave for Yorkshire... Maybe next year :)

If someone has a spare mount (and cable), I have a spare aerial and CB that will work well enough for lz. Just ordered a new one from ebay.

Any that we could do?

Route 1 is do-able by everyone. Non scratchy and mostly open fields. There are a couple of the lanes that are bumpy and rutted but still driveable and good fun. You can opt out of these if you want and meet us at the next lane which is only down the road.
I have aimed to make it a nice and gentle (but still fun and pretty) little route.
We end up going through a ford which, at the moment, is only a couple of feet deep but will wash some of the mud off :D

Quick question I've got an adjustable towbar fitted at mo will it be ok being left on for the laning is got a 4" ish lift on? Don't want to dig in it might rip me crossmember off!! lol Also do wading plus need to be fitted for this Ford?

You do remember what we had last year?
Ripped the under tray off getting in the campsite:D

The towbar will be fine and no wading plugs are needed. The only bit where water may get in is where Funkykipper got stuck last weekend, so we will be avoiding that!
