Which Tyres for my Series III Lightweight

I've got a dilema - my Seriess III has got two sets of wheels - one the

1. original swb rims with Army tyres - useless on road but look great and
2. lwb rims with 7.50 MT tyres - great but very heavy to turn and

I want a new set that fit the following criteria:

1. Mostly road biased
2. Fit on SWB rims
3. Look vaguely off road or military in aspect i.e. a bit knobly
4. Reasonably priced
5. Light on the steering

Any recommendation from readers of this forum?
What size should I go for 205x16 or other?

Only ones I can see are Colway AT...
