How many different green paints has there been on landrovers (mine is a 1968 s2a) over the years, and which one do you think this is, is it likely to be a standard one?....and where can i get some to match?

Thanks

looks likke bronze green, you can get it from paddock's about £10 per lire, there is two shades the one from paddocks is the dark one, not sure weather they do the lighter one but there is very little in it

Sorry to jump in, but what is the make up for the paint from paddocks?? It gives no details on the site apart from brush or spray on. What is the drying time of it and is it oil based or what?? Have any of you used it as much info would be good.

I brush mine on - and it's hard to get decent info from paddocks, but seems to thin nicely with turps, so assume it'll be a semi-synth Enamel. Dries rock-hard and applies evenly and beautifully.

My 88" has 4 coats on a black base. one tin with a roller did the bulkhead, cab, and roof.
