Which fuel pump td5

Hi all
I'm going to get a new fuel pump td5 and I've seen that paddocks do an OEM for £200 plus the vat, has anyone had or heard of any good reviews on this pump or any other pump from anyone around the same price???

never bought one from paddock but if its the britpart oe one then its ok

I got one with a 12 month warranty for 60-odd quid, it is noisy and the sender was set wrong - showing 1/4 full on the gauge, but no diesel in the tank! But I couldn't stretch to a siemens VDO one.

Let's hope you don't have a problem with your new pump, with a suppliers t&c's like this. "PLEASE NOTE IF THIS ITEM FAILS WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD IT MUST BE RETURNED TO US FOR INSPECTION (ALLOW 4-6 WEEKS) PRIOR TO REFUND/EXCHANGE".

But then I'm use to a direct replacement with any item that's faulty.

that's cos they are only suppliers and the product's warranty is from the manufacturer, that sh*tty policy is from Siemens/VDO who would hardly believe theyrs product failed due to manufacturer's fault and they send it to a laboratory for investigation(i had a friend who worked for them)... if you'll watch you'll see that island dont have this statement for other products
