Nathan is offering a b****y good deal for somebody with a TD5 engine, however you are not!
If you mean the lead that comes with the EAS software then it will have connections to communicate with the EAS but no more. Why should it? That would just entail extra time and cost. I suppose that you could make your own lead or ask Datatek nicely but for this you would need the pin-out on a Nanocom.

Nathan's offer is still a good one ,even with the unlock code for the diesel and new cable it's still cheaper than buying a single vehicle nano.;)

But you need both the engine unlock code and the unlock code for P38 systems to get the full P38 nanocom functionality don't you?

It's £150 for both of those unlock codes and with him selling it for £250 that means you not actually saving anything doesn't it?

Sorry if I've got it wrong, just that's what it looks like to me.

A new EDC Nanocom will set you back £355.55 plus post and packaging which was about £38.00 for me plus anything you get charged for using a card. You get charged whether it's a debit card or not. So there will be a charge for using a card. So it will come to you with a warranty for just over the £400.00 mark. The warranty may not apply if you buy second hand. You need a log in to get updates so you would have to change the user details through BBS, knowing them they will charge for that. If you're getting one get a new one.

Yep you are right,my mistake.
The only bonus would be ,he would have td5 cable and functionality and might be able to make a couple of quid back that way,for the price of a p38 only nanocom.

So....a OBD2 it is then....... :p

thanks for all your advice....and Nathan...thanks for the offer but i think i'm gonna go for a new one...good luck with the sale.....

now to find £400....!!....sod it, I'm just going to order one and deal with the cost (read wife) later...

Just a thought with the present financial climate in Cyprus, if you pay by card might be worth using a credit card to guarantee your money.

Failing that you may never see your Nanocom or your money.

Blackbox Solutions is a UK Limited Company....so not sure how that stands with regards to the current Cyprus dilema...!!
You sure about that Ant? Cyprus was a former British protectorate and may use the same terminology. & Co Ltd applies, or used to apply, in some former colonies but the companies were indigenous not UK companies.
